Yay, Stargate, I love that song too. It is really cool, and I also think Gwen Stephanie can do so many styles of music!!!

Yeah, it's catchy i have to admit. It's just that it's REALLY repetitive, but that's okay. It's really fun to dance to!

And to sing with it. I often do.

I like the "B-A-N-A-N-A-S!" part. It was played at my senior prom, and the DJ would lower it at all the parts where it said sh**, and everybody, I mean everybody, filled in the blanks. It was awesome when we got to the bananas part too ... hehehehe. Other than that, well, I do think Gwen Stefani sounded better with No Doubt.

Lol Allie, that must have been awesome. But, no, I like her more alone, without No Doubt.

gwen's crazy cool! I love that song to! It sounds great in the clubs, and it's just all around good! I liked no doubt when she was with them, but she seems to also be doing really well on her own

Post 9 by Leafs Fan (I'll have the last word, thank you!) on Tuesday, 14-Jun-2005 8:57:52

There is no question that Gwen's offerings with No Doubt are vastly superior to her solo work, but the songs are catchy. IN spite of my knowing better, I like that Holla Back Girl song. This shit, ladies and gentlemen, is bananas. Oh yeah, this is my shit, this is my shit. Who ever thought a repetition of this is my shit would make such a hit record? Welcome to 2005 all. LOL

I don't get the point of the song. It's a weird song if you ask me. I mean who would go singing about bananas, and the line " the shit is bananas" What is that suppose to mean ?

I love that song!
I always sing it when I hear it, and then I keep um singing the song out loud, and spelling Bananas whenever I hear that part

Post 12 by Twinklestar09 (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Monday, 20-Jun-2005 7:29:40

Agreed, Heavy Metal Girl 85. *smiles* I just have to laugh when I hear that song because it seems so nonsensical and weird to me. It sounds almost like a cheerleader song or something! *laughs* So I only hear it when others happen to be listening to it, and even then, when I can, I just put on something else on my Walkman and listen to that other thing instead. I gotta admit that it is catchy though.

Well yeah, but that makes it funny!!! I mean ... you have to laugh when you listen to it, it's just catchy and odd, but the odd part makes it cool - that#s my opinion.

I like her because it's more my music style than with no Doubt. She's great solo.

It blows. The best thing Gwen ever did was with no doubt. The remake of It's my life has a killer bass line, and the vocals are cool.
